Very nice piece, Udhay. I loved "The Machinery of Freedom", it's a great primer on anarcho libertarianism, lucid and compelling. But it seems to me that anarchy is unstable in the sense that governments (and states) of some sort are inevitable. In any situation where no one is in charge, it is inevitable that you'll have power politics, with affiliations forming on the basis of territory or common interests or shared ethnicity or whatever. That's human nature. And those struggles will result in governments and states of some sort.
