Yeah, which is exactly my point about the camera changing your photography style. With the S1 I was always setting up the shot and twiddling with dials, whereas on the SD 1000 I simply whip it out and click, and it's small enough that I am always carrying it. I also spend a lot less time reviewing the pics taken with the SD1000, since they aren't of any great artistic quality anyway, but they are great documentaries of where I've been. On the S1 IS, I'd spend some time selecting the best picture, and so naturally they look nicer. I find myself having little patience or the time for that these days, so the SD1000 works better for me now.
