And they still have one appeal left (at the European Court of
Justice). But given that this court asked them to pay the EU
Commission's cost, further appeals could prove more expensive to them.

I love this in the judgement:

Orders Microsoft to pay the costs of Software & Information Industry
Association, Free Software Foundation Europe, Audiobanner.com and
European Committee for Interoperable Systems (ECIS), including those
relating to the interim measures proceedings

The FSF gets some money out of Microsoft. :)
