This happened to my parents a couple of years ago. Maliciously - some kids on the bridge. The peddle went straight through the windscreen, bounced a couple of times and landed in between my fathers legs. If it had hit his head my parents would likely be dead, as it was they were lucky not to have had even a minor crash. m
