Well, I think of my job as a purely economic transaction - I contribute and my org pays me for it and I have no feelings or any deep attachment to my job beyond that. I don't work weekends or go the "extra mile". But I hope it it is a healthy contract where I actually put in 40 hours of work per week for the money I get paid and I don't vanish one day without telling anyone what I am up to and make a habit of being flaky.
