I found it incredibly funny. Its like a long bollywood movie script with lots of padding.
scenes like: single handedly fighting a bunch of killer dogs, singing on top of a suburban train, benevolent foriegn hookers etc. are most certainly made up. I dont think it was a very good book, but its one of those books (like a train wreck) which you cannot stop reading, because you want to know how the next compartment is gonna crash and burn down the bridge. (maybe ***spoilers**** ahead) The ending is just hilarious with the exaltation of various sentiments like: god, mother and forgiveness (typically bollywood). >
