I'm not opposed to the idea itself; just pointing out logistical issues from having hosted paid events in my innocent youth where I didn't ask for money ahead of time, people said they would show up, and some cancelled last minute, leaving me with lost income. Another thing to consider is a location that's not too far for most people, which in Bangalore means you don't want too far North or South. Where's your flat, Kiran? :P
