So, one of the inescapable little quotidian chores of life is keeping your various devices charged. I am curious: how many devices do people need to keep charged on a daily (at at least, regular) basis? My number crosses 10, which surprised me because I don't even think about it anymore.

What about you folks?

Let's see:

1-2. Cell phones
3. Laptop
4. Robot vacuum
5. Robot mop
6. Portable vacuum
7. Spice grinder
8-13. Six UPS units for computers (due to flaky power service)

Intermittant charging:

14. Alarm clock
15. Hair trimmer

Yeah, it's a lot, and that's not counting a half-dozen units my wife charges.

Long term, my plan is to get a whole-house battery (and ultimately solar panels) and get rid of the UPS units. The rest, alas, will likely remain.

I will credit the robotic mop and vacuum (and frankly the spice grinder as well) to advancing age and reduced mobility that makes doing those jobs manually prohibitively painful.

Cheers,
