Back in 2009 the SB Lifeguard paper recommended "Rollback of the
government ESOP (tax) policy". This was tabled in PublicSphere #3.

I think its pretty well understood that the current tax regime on
share options is very damaging to innovation and early stage
companies.
Questions:
1. Can anyone comment on any action/progress/dialog from the gov on
this matter?
2. If Ms Waugh is still on the list - could you please provide a comment?
3. Has anyone routed around the flawed logic to get a reasonable
result for their staff/candidates?
