Naysayers will disagree, but looking at it impartially, I'd say get a  
Macbook - runs OSX (and if needed Windows too) - then add some of the  
slickest apps on the market. If you are used to using Linux like I  
was, then you can still get your vim fix in a Terminal.app window!

Disclaimer = I don't particularly like Steve Jobs. But Apple engineer  
some good quality kit :-)
Disclaimer += I like Windows, especially Vista. I'm 33.3% Mac, 33.3%  
Windows, 33.3% Linux and 0.1% Solaris.
