So I took your recommendation and changed the rc.firewall script to the
follow:
/sbin/modprobe ipt_MASQUERADE
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
Essentially making a simple router out of the PC.
The results were the same. Google Meet video is lost through the box. So
that tells me shorewall is not the cause.

My guess is it's the kernel that's causing this. Time to do some more
research.

Yes that is the only way for us to understand where the issue lies! :)

I don't explicitly disable Google traffic (that I know of) Everything
works fine under 14.2 and I utilize the exact same scripts under 15.0. If you
were to elaborate on how one would go about disabling Goggle Traffic, I could
check it out.
This does not look like to be Shorewall related, a fiew pointers:
- Assuming that the Shorewall config is the same between the two major
releases, I would look at those differences.
- Looks like Google Classroom could be using the same UDP ports as 'Meet'.
- Are you also seeing this on other devices?
