I'm already on the latest LEDE (it's actually called OpenWRT now/again) stable (17.01.4) but 17.01.5 is in the pipeline and I'd like to make sure this issue is fixed for it. But without some patches to identify what needs fixing, I will have zero chance of that happening since this only seems to happen with Shorewall. It really doesn't square with me that this problem only happens with Shorewall started (i.e. goes away with shorewall6-lite stop). Is that really been the symptom of this "kernel problem" for everyone who has experienced it? It's a kernel problem but it only happens while shorewall is running and it goes away when shorewall is stopped? I just want to make sure I am not chasing a ghost here. Cheers, b.
