Dear Tom,

You're great (as usual)
The last patch did the trick, No more errors

However I'm confused by Shorewall behavior.
When starting Shorewall with the two providers physical links up I can plug/unplug any of  the providers link without changing Shorewall setup and have seamless results for clients behind firewall When disabling/enabling interfaces manually or with "foolsm" utility it's going weird unless restarting completely Shorewall

I need to investigate deeper

Dear Tom,

Still the same

Attached trace output for the same command:   sh -x
/var/lib/shorewall/firewall disable eth2 > trace3

Okay -- I was able to test this one and it does the right thing.

Again, revert the prior patch:

     patch -R /usr/share/shorewall/lib.runtime < INTERFACESTATE1.patch

And apply this one

     patch /usr/share/shorewall/lib.runtime < INTERFACESTATE1.patch
     shorewall compile
