Hello, I use a dynamic dns (noip) to connect to my adsl interface from outside. The public IP changes everytime there is an adsl reconnection.
If I don't restart shorewall the firewall doesn't takes the new IP into consideration thus making it impossible to access my pc. Thus I issue this command at each adsl reconnection: /sbin/shorewall status > /dev/null && /sbin/shorewall restart -f Is there a way of doing this more cleanly in shorewall, I mean instead of wiping all the rules and then setting them again? -- Regards, Ashvin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
