Hello,

first post to the list!

I've been using version 8.1.9 for over a year now and it works rather well.

I do have an issue with qlogin / qrsh though, as I can't get it to work when
the user's shell is set to bash - works well when the user's shell is set to
tcsh.

qsub works well no matter what the user's shell is set to.

I even tried while removing start up scripts but I keep getting the same
warning:

"waiting for interactive job to be scheduled ...Your "qlogin" request could not be
scheduled, try again later."

It's not a resource issue and I reserved a test queue to troubleshoot this.
It's systematic, tcsh as a user shell works but bash doesn't.

I'm using the builtin commands...

$ qconf -sconf | grep login
login_shells bash,sh,ksh,csh,tcsh
qlogin_command builtin
qlogin_daemon builtin
rlogin_command builtin
rlogin_daemon builtin

Any help on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
