Hello All, I am configuring APACHE-TOMCAT installion on REDHAT LINUX version 6.1. I am able to start TOMCAT using ./tomcat.sh start without any exceptions. I included the include statement in httpd.conf to include tomcat-apache.conf. I built the apache web server with --prefix shared object support. When I run the ./apachectl start it is giving that apache web server started. Is this all we get? When I shutdown tomcat there is an error message saying socket in use exception. Also mod_jserv file is created whenever i Start Apache web server. Please tell me whether I have configured correctly? If anything else I have to give I am ready to share the information.
