Maybe ExchangeMessage bug???

Hi All!!
In the MessageExchangeImpl class the toString method changes the
internal status of the object.
The method change the content of messages "in", "out" and "fault" to an
instance of DOMSource.
I'm wondering: Is it right? Or is it a bug?
