Thank you for the response. I was thinking of bringing in Spring, but Spring was not very large when I began the first project and as such is not there yet. No time like the pressent!!!
I can imagine other users might be concerned about performance in both single and clustered environments for standard types of apps depending on chosen NPR. If they are not confident of expected throughput, they may just back off due to risk. I imagine there is some knowledge that can be guessed based on the performance of ActiveMQ or other components, but there could be odd saturation issues a developer could find under load. I will try to take a look at what you asked for for 1.5.2 Quartz. I have not used Maven, but 1.5.2 Quartz is very important because other versions do not work well in a clustered environment. Considering the target market for a ServiceMix things like are important. I liked OS Workflow in particular here because it also has Quartz sitting behind it to allow you to schedule the workflows.
