I just added a patch to JIRA that includes a resequencer endpoint for
the EIP component.

The resequencer works on message streams using a timeout policy. It
works slightly different than Camel's resequencer as it doesn't make
batch-reads of predefined (maximum) size (although a 'capacity'
parameter prevents the resequencer from running out of memory). A
description of this resequencer is given by the JIRA entry and the
Javadocs contained in the patches. There's also a (running) example
which outlines how to configure the resequencer in a service unit.
