I just tried it and it worked fine for me - but only after I made a
minor change to the pom.xml. I had to add this

     <plugin>
       <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
       <configuration>
         <source>1.5</source>
         <target>1.5</target>
       </configuration>
     </plugin>

to enable compilation.

Note its a tad confusing which attachment is the latest one. I used
the attachment number 2 servicemix-bam.zip on the JIRA which was added
on the 13th Aug. I'm not sure why JIRA isn't sorting them in the order
in which they were added :)

Note that the pom.xml already had the jencks dependency added.

Let me recap..

1) Downloaded the BAM sample from
<https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/SM-534>

2) Did a mvn install

3) Got the error

         <scope>test</scope>
   </dependency>

8) Still getting the above test failure error..

I am interested in getting the BAM component working and experimenting
with it..
But just can't get there..
