Hi Daniel !

I was thinking at some kind of flow monitoring : an exchange usually originate from a binding component and may involve several exchanges thereafter. I think that one cool thing would be to be able to monitor the flow for a given exchange (this is easily done when the whole flow is a bpel process, but when this is not the case...: what these exchanges are, were do they go, time to be processed, etc...
It can become really tricky when used in a cluster ;).
I think that being able to trace / monitor in some way such a thing would be very handy.

Cheers,

Hi,

I'm a student of software engineering at the university of Stuttgart(Germany) and right now I'm looking for an appropriate subject for my diploma thesis.

I'd really like to do something that deals with JBI in general focusing on the ServiceMix implementation in particular.

Currently I'm reading the JBI spec trying to find some inspiration. The reason for writing is that I wanted to ask for any existing ideas.

Is there anything missing in your implementation, is there any need for detailed analysis or working prototypes of new features (I have read through the possible ideas on the ServiceMix homepage, which are very interesting - but maybe there are more)?

The basic requirements of my university include that the diploma thesis deals with "something new" that hasn't existed before and that theoretical parts of the thesis might be published afterwards.

So, if anybody has ideas, hints or just good wishes ;-) please let me know.

Greets and TIA, Daniel
