Isn't the modem activated by the driver to the card everytime? Maybe I can disable the serial to start at boot, but then it will effect the built in serial ports? I tried 'carctl eject 1' but then it hang, I found out that #1 was the pcmcia port the card used. How do I find the socket # for the built in modem? > That might "solve" the shutdown problem. > > It'll at least help narrow this down. > > I'm real suspicious of the modem, since the last message > relates to ttyS3. > Is it normal to have a modem at ttyS* ? Maybe I should try and install an dialup account for the modem and see if it's working properly. > -Thomas > > > > _______________________________________________ > Seawolf-list mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
