We are running ext3 file systems with the 2.4.9-12 kernel under seawolf and I find that some machines run fsck on reboot every time. Other supposedly identical machines do not. I would expect that this is not related to the clean or not clean entry in the superblock you get when you run tune2fs -l. And that seems to be true.
Can anyone suggest where these machines that are running fsck are getting the information that the filesystem is not clean? ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University 715 Stadium Dr. San Antonio, TX 78212-7200 telephone: (210)-999-7484 email:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
