Now I know this is
probably going to be an easy answer but I will ask the question
anyway
Here's the
situation:
Here at work we
are currently doing ip masquerading behind a Linux firewall with 2 network
cards. One is setup at a publicly accessible ip address while the other sends
packets to us on the internal network...the usual setup. I am trying to set up
another Linux firewall to do the same thing. I have installed 2 network cards
and set the ip addresses, netmasks and gateways to the same settings as the
previous firewall. This is a stock Red Hat 7.1 installation.
My question is:
What rpms, daemons etc do I need to start up ip masquerading
?
Also, I want to
set up an NNTP server on the firewall as well. What rpms, daemons etc do I need
to do this as well.
Thanks in advance
guys, all help is appreciated
