The first one worked. Thanx (to Micheal earlier as well).

[root@vcserver1 errata]# rpm -Uvh up2date*.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
   1:up2date ########################################### [ 50%]
   2:up2date-gnome ########################################### [100%]

I'm going to try out up2date and might use it for work. But i've kind of
committed to going command-line only until i understand all the main bits
of Linux.

I couldn't get Slackware 8.0 in SaiGon, so i went for RedHat 7.1, which
has been a mutha', let me tell you. It's been insane trying to find
readable, up2date documentation. The changes to xinetd and in bind 9x had
me running in circles for over a week by themselves.

Thanks again.

All the best, from sunny SaiGon,
AD
