Hi!
Go to the Samba web site and get the latest rpm of samba and READ the docs
that come with it. There is a great step-by-step document that explains
exactly what needs to be done to get them to work together. It only took me
about 45 minutes to get Samba and W2k (and ME) with domain authentication
running. Full file sharing, home directories, login scripts, the works.
