Is it just me guys are is there a problem with the 2.4.6+ kernels for the HPT370 controller on KT7-Raid boards. All of a sudden, when I compile a kernel > = 2.4.6, it detects the controller but never manages to list the devices connected to it and therefore never finishes the booting process. I have put in ide=reverse in my lilo.conf file, the HPT370 is detected first, then the VIA chipset but still doesn't fully boot. I also made sure I selected that option about boot off board chipsets first. Funny thing is that I have a 2.4.5 kernel and it works fine but > = 2.4.6 don't.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
