It will wonderful to see that working, we badly need that capability of
being able to remove a disk from a pool.

Add the new disk - start writing new blocks to that disk, instead of waiting to
re-layout all the stipes. And when the disk is not active, do slow/safe copy on
write to balance all the blocks?

patch?
We have scripts which create our iso images and it will be a too much of a
hazzle to modify our scripts with the workaround(s). This sucks, we deployed
ZFS into p
action (we killed this after a
while i.e. > few hours).
My questions are:
* are we doing something wrong
* is this a known issue
* what are the configuration recommendation for a 3510 FC for ZFS
