blockpointer rewrite code would allow an admin to simply turn on dedup
and let ZFS process the pool, eliminating excess redundancy as it
went.

Thanks - you were right - I had two identical drives and I mixed them
up. It's going through the resilver process now... I expect it will
run all night.
