Hello Experts;
There was a CIFS share we were using /export/cifs1 . It got deleted
accidently.
Is there any way I can recover this directory. We don't have snapshot
for this directory.

It's all about performance when you consider H/W raid. It will put
extra overhead on your OS . As ZFS is fast, I will always prefer ZFS
based RAID. It will also save cost of RAID card.
