Hi Lachlan,
I just tried this on the “daisy” branch and I can find all the libraries you
mention as being missing.
Are you using core-image-sato-sdk as the “base” image?
As far as I know 1.6.2 hasn’t been released yet, so what commit are you using?
Regards,
Mihail

Hi Thomas,
what I need is to have one image per partition
for example if i need to have /opt on a different partition i would need 2
image files at the end
one containing the root partition but without /opt and one with the contents
of /opt (without /opt itself because this image will b

Andre,
I spent some time trying to determine how to generate multiple images as you've
mentioned. However, the process used to generate the rootfs image appears to be
buried deep in the Open Embedded core and I wasn't able to figure out how it
works. Maybe someone else can chime in on how that
I updated the wording in the manual to indicate that the target wiki pages have
helpful but possibly dated information.

Hi,
As far as wic goes, I think this is something that should be supported,
and probably wouldn't be too hard to implement, but I really haven't
thought about the details much. Off the top of my head, I think it
would mainly require some changes to the Wic_PartData and rootfs plugin
and an extens

HI,
I am looking at poky/bitbake/contrib/vim/plugin/newbb.vim and it indeed is
pretty different from what is in the
http://www.yoctoproject/docs/current/dev-manual/dev-manual.html#new-recipe-locate-a-base-recipe
section in the YP Development Manual. Can I get someone to verify if it is
okay
I've been fighting a problem where bitbake can't find the php package during
the do_rootfs task and I've determined that it has something to do with the
bbappend file I added to my layer for php.
The problem is with my bbappend file (php_5.4.14.bbappend) no ipk package gets
created for the php

It's funny how once you give up and post a question to a message board new
