I like emacs not adding to the kill ring minor deletions like caused
by delete-char.
This discrepancies trips me over and over.

I am using ack 1.86 and a darcs mirror of the latest yi.
One can download ack http://betterthangrep.com/.
In yi in emacs mode I do M-x shell do get an interactive shell.
$ cd ~/darcs/yi
$ ack line
I never get the prompt back
I note that in a yi interactive shell, the following does not print
When launching a command like shell or grepFind, one usually wants it
with the current buffer
directory as starting directory. I propose to change the curremt
directory to a buffer directory when making that directory current.
