As I mentioned in the patch, combining neutron dns-integration with the
designate PTR functionality is not supported, so if this is the issue,
the bug is invalid. I actually think that we should deprecate and drop
the designate support for that in order to avoid such conflicts.

port, if you do not specify it, the value is taken from the associated
network, but it is not copied into the field for the port. Otherwise a
change of the dns-domain for the network would no longer affect the

Seems that this is an issue that only swift can solve. Hopefully this
