With the flag set to mc (memcached) and after a while every services are
reported as down. The Updated_at date returned by the command line is
the value coming from the database.

should not create a subnet and just allocate a port on the network.

Ah, the question was answered above:
We are compiling nova.mo's using babel with the --use-fuzzy option so it was
compiling these
fuzzy translations. Our workaround is to not compile the fuzzy translations.
I think it's a case of "just don't compile with --use-fuzzy"
