or similar programs that act on input device events and scan-codes
before them being received by display server. It let your
configuration to work in both X and Wayland and most importantly in

Not so knowledgable about X window system. First, can that be donethrough
XKB-extension, which is the better approach? Second, xmodmapsetting changes
with plugging out the input device, and doesn'tsupport hot-plugging.
