This release introduces the version 2.4 of the X Input protocol. It
contains the addition of the concept of touchpad gestures. Touchpad
gesture is an interaction of two or more fingers that can be interpreted
as a swipe or a pinch.

events official. This feature is the only difference between libXi 1.8
and the latest release in the 1.7.x series (1.7.10).
