ctrl+alt+f2 does not appear to do anything. I see no visible effects when
the display is running normally (before suspend) nor does it wake the
screen after resuming from suspend.
Failsafe mode also fails to restore the display when resuming.

The Xorg modesetting driver should be fine on this hardware, you don't
need the -ast driver.

claiming it."
-> please add "nomodeset" in boot option to avoid load "drm" driver.
Please send the related log if it still failed.
