I got more complete information about my issue but still haven't been able
to find a solution, any help is much appreciated.

According to the NVidia driver page a GT730 requires a later driver,
352.30. This would be found in the "nvidia-current" package, so
uninstall "nvidia-331" and install "nvidia-current" instead.
