Hi,
Do you consider supporting right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew,
Urdu...) and, actually, bidirectional text, in the future XXE v4? I have
the impression that there is good support for this in Java 1.4 and later.

It looks like XXE 3.5 does not include the latest schema for the
configuration file. I opened
/usr/local/xxe-pro-3_5_0/addon/config/xhtml/xhtml.xxe and it says that
spellCheckOptions is not expected there.

OK, not a big deal. We usually edit this document split into 80 or so
files as well.
I just thought it was worth reporting in case more complex styling makes
this more visible even with smaller files.

Dear XMLMind,
I'm interested in any news/forecast regarding this feature: that XXE would
warn the user when a file has been changed on disk by another process and
offer to reload, overwrite or save as a different name.
This topic was raised last year:
http://www.xmlmind.com/pipermail/xmleditor-su
ce to reload the
file before making further changes. This situation is common with a version
management system (save, update, solve conflict if any, commit).

Hi,
In the context of an XXE Java extension (a CSS extension, precisely), I'd
like to find out what is the schema type of an element found in the document
being edited. Assuming I have an Element node in XXE which is validated
against an W3C XML Schema, I'd like to obtain the name of the element's
ere is more than one
template.
A workaround in this case is of course to convert to ul and then convert
again to ol. But this would not be possible if ol was the only possible
target element for the conversion.
Is this already possible somehow?
Thanks,
Benoit

Hi,
Is there a command such as "include", which would allow to create an
xi:include with an xpointer instead of an reference_id?
Something like:
includeXPointer after section1.xml "xmlns(a=uri) xmlns(b=another-uri)
xpointer(/a:element/b:foo)"
instead of

They notably differ in that config A and a.xml have a DTD defined while
config B and b.xml don't have any schema defined.
Thank you for any help.

Hi,
I found the following behaviour slightly annoying in the Link tool:

We've implemented this in our document management system: a button in the
Web application allows to edit an XML file. In fact, it points to a JNLP
file, which instructs XXE to download the XML file from our WebDAV server.
This way, XXE knows where to save the document. The only issue we find is
