[XXE] conref in dita map file

Very new to dita and impressed with its possibilities I just tried to lay out my first project. I am using a reference document containing reusable content. I use a dita map to organize my topics. Now I stuck with a problem I only come across in XMLmind editor but it works without flaw in ditto-
