The most common solution to this (I believe) is to install XFree86
fonts. In your case, there are probably a series of RPMs to install
for Mandrake Enterprise.
rpm -i package.rpmshould install them if Mandrake's version of RPM
is like RedHat's.
Good luck.

Hello,
We're going to need a little more information to help you. What
aspect of FreeBSD are you trying to get working? This is a support list
for the XFree86 windowing system. There are support lists for FreeBSD
that provide distro specific help. If you need help getting XFree86 to
work, m

I don't think any video card will be able to generate pixel
clocks low enough to do that. Even with huge blanking regions,
that requires clocks down in the 5 MHz range.
I think you might get something about 4 Hz though.

Looks like it got zapped at xfree.org.

The problem is e-mail address impersonation: on infected machines the virus selects
half of the
contacts addresses as addressee and the other half as sender... This triggers a huge
number of
answers from the firewalls of thoses addressees who have one...
in spite of it all

You need to log on as root, type xf86cfg (or
variations thereof) and enter settings. The fun is
just beginning! I couldn't find a decent how-to on the
xfree.org site, but linuxbroker.com has lots of neat
info (search for how-to).
