Ok, I've managed to get the Config file available to knoppix, below are it's contents, look fine to me.
I should possibly mention that hda2 doesn't show up in /mnt although
mtab lists that it should. If I try to mount it manually I get a
message that it is alreay mounted or "/ is busy". I've run

if it is lower than 4.3.0 version, then u hav to download XFree
4.3.0 or XFree 4.4.0 and install it.
XFree 4.3.0 , Xfree 4.4.0 is compatable with GeForce FX
