I'm currently reviewing and completing the Xfce translation to
Brazilian Portuguese.
I use Debian unstable and have Xfce 4.8.0 installed.
Although the docs are available for translation and some of its
components are translated to pt_BR, when I click on the 'Help' button
the docs index page

So I suppose in this case I must first translate the xfce4-utils doc.

Hi Nick, could you update the translation template for xfce4-timer-plugin?
The pot file in transifex is wrong and the translations don't apply.

wrong/oudated .pot file (unless one could commit directly to git).

You could also upload the files to master directly. Most of them, if not
all, will have the exact same strings.
If one or two miss something then you complete it.

You have to add to the header of the file (there where your name and the
language are):
"Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=(n > 1);\n"

is made by the GNOME team.
