I have a small (more annoying than destructive) problem with the
latest xgreek in the MiKTeX 2.8. Every time I try to typeset (through
TeXworks) a file, I get:
("C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.8\tex\xelatex\xgreek\xgreek.sty"

This was solved with the (offlist) help of Apostolos. It was caused by
greek hyphenation patterns, although installed, were not activated in
the MiKTeX language.dat file (\tex\generic\config\language.dat).
I re-enabled them and through MiKTeX Options (tab Formats) I also
enabled xetex and xelatex,

I seem to be having a problem (described here:

dashes are not replaced by the appropriate ligatures in XeTeX. I am
using the OpenType version of the Computer Modern
typeface ("CMU Serif"), introduced
