past year is only: gcc 3.4.6, libc 2.3.6, Linux 2.6.28.6. with fontconfig-2.7.3 (libfontconfig.so.1.4.3). Was this segfaults for latest XeTeX version 3.1415926-2.2-0.9997.4 ? There have been some critical fixes between 0.9997.3 and 0.9997.4! Regards Peter Breitenlohner
