I don't put that command (I don't even know what it does, or even that
the command exist, :-D). I'll try to do some more
experiments later today and see if I get better luck this time around.

Try using Linux Biolinum O instead and it works. (Linux Biolinum O is
included, IIRC, with MacTeX09, which we have here).
