I have to disagree. I do not like that the report does not change, during the QSO, when the received strength changes. For example, I call CQ on 144 FT8. I am beaming West. A station from the Northeast calls me. I receive his call at -20 dB. I immediately start rotating my antenna to point t

Dwane, I am almost certain that your assumption in incorrect. For WSJT in general, it does not matter what the settings for the waterfall display are set to. They have nothing to do with decoding, they provide only visual signal recognition. So, if there is a decodable signal above the 1500 H

I had / have the same problem. By turning off all virus protection I was finally able to download RC8. But when trying to install, it gives me a error “Error opening file for writing: C:\WSJT\wsjts\bin\Qt5Core.dll” I checked and the file is there and not read-only. I tried this twice with t

Hi all. It seems that in echo mode, WSJT-X is no longer adjusting the TX tone to compensate for doppler shift. To test this, I set up on 2 meter EME, with Doppler Tracking enabled but track mode set to none. While running echo mode I also observe the frequency of the returned echo on the WSJT-X wa
