Very nice! Here is my pirates map as inkscape svg. Too bad that librsvg
doesn't support patterns as it seems, the result of your test program
with this map is somewhat humbling. Odd... the librsvg wegpage sais is
supports patterns since 2.8.0. Maybe it's because it's an inkscape svg?
