Hello everybody,
During the install of my application (Windows 7 Pro x64) I would like :
** copy a file in the installation directory
** remove a file from a subdirectory
It's ok for the copy of the file - no problem.
On the other hand, the remove of a file do not work.

Hello everybody,
I would like remove a particular folder after the installation of my
application (especially after the copy of the file).
This is the extract of my WXS file :
change file attributes during the copy. But thanks
to "smart cabbing", you can just use two File elements, and as long as
you're using WiX 3.5 or later, this won't make your MSI any larger.
E.g.,
(In my example, I am leaving off unnecessary attributes, per

Hi everybody,
When I try to uninstall my application, this message appears :
There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package.
A script required for this install to complete could not be run.
Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
For information my application is
ut the WiX toolset.
Objet : Re: [WiX-users] Problem during uninstall !
Hello,
I think that it is your vbs which causes the problem because it's excuted on
install and uninstall.
Maybe you could add a condition to execute your custom action.

I don't use Wix project to do that.
So how to "connect" the WSL file to my WXS file ?

I have to use an ANT script to build a JavaFX application and to bundle this
application into a MSI installer.
I don't use VS but rather Eclipse.
So my main entry is Eclipse / ANT and a custom WXS file.
I have to write text with accents in tag.

Hi,
I try (several times) to install Wix 3.8 or 3.9.
During the installation , I obtain an empty error message in a dialog box !
For information, I am under Windows 7 Pro 64 bits.
It's very strange I already installed Wix on another PC (with the same
configuration) with success.
Hi,
I found the problem.
It was just a update problem for DotNet Framework (4.0 to 4.5).
After the update, no problem to install Wix 3.8.
Thank you
Fabrice
