As stated in the documentation for Formatted Column Data Type ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa368609(VS.85).aspx ) you should replace "[" with "[\[]" "]" with "[\]]" Will I get the proposed $64,000? ;-) Ondrej Zarevu
